BGA members visited “Hookwood House” a garden in Shipbourne open for the National Garden Scheme, on 14th June 2019. This is a charming country garden of 2 acres with herbaceous borders, nut plat, orchard and clipped yews. On arrival we were served wine and canapes, and given a brief talk about the garden by the owner Felicity Ward.
