Coronavirus – As Covid transmission rates are reducing the BGA Committee have decided to restart the planned monthly meetings. So meetings will proceed as planned. Look through the ‘Programme’ page for details of this years events. We will ensure that at our meetings will have plenty of ventilation in the Village Hall so come with some warm clothes.  Keep an eye on this website and Glenys’s e-mails tp keep up to date with what is going on.

Spring Flower Show – We were very pleased to be able to run the Spring Flower Show agian this year. See the Flower Show pages for more details and the results.

Monthly Programme  –  The monthly meeting programme is now running normally as advertised on the Programme Page. The next meeting will take place on Friday 20 May starting at 7.30 pm. The speaker is Jacueline Aviolet, who will be giving us a talk called ‘At the Nursery’ and she will be bringing along some plants for sale. The competion is  a ‘one stem/blossom from tree/shrub’.

Cornwall Garden Holiday –  This trip will now take place next year from 25 to 29 May 2022. We will be staying in a hotel in Falmouth and we will visiting 7 gardens over the 5 day trip. Arundel Castle Summer Outting – The Summer outing this year will be a day trip to Arundel Castle and Gardens on Sunday 7th August.

The cost will be

Adults – Castle, gardens and coach – £35 or Garden only and coach – £28

 Children – House, gardens and coach – £25 or Garden only and coach – £21

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Event – 4th June 2022  – the Jubilee event arrangements are taking shape and will include a BBQ and Bar; It’s a Knockout competition; Dog show; stalls and games; teas and cake; old village photography exhibition.  Bidborough Gardening Association will host a plant stall, and would be grateful for donations of plants to sell and indeed anything garden related.
